Men Stand, Inc. mission is to foster a safer community by reshaping societal norms that contribute to violence, while actively engaging in community development, crime prevention, and intervention initiatives.

Men Stand, Inc. envisions a thriving West Baltimore where violence is no longer a norm, but a thing of the past. We see a community where men are empowered to lead healthy, productive lives, youth are nurtured into strong leaders, and families are supported with the tools, opportunities, and resources they need to break cycles of poverty and violence.

Men Stand, Inc. is a nonprofit organization deeply committed to fostering a safer community in West Baltimore through intensive community-based initiatives focused on violence interruption and conflict de-escalation. We are dedicated to the critical work of identifying and intervening in potentially violent situations, while also addressing the root causes of violence by transforming the mindset and behaviors of those most prone to engage in such acts.
